With the official release of A24’s new album compilation “Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense,” fans can now enjoy Miley Cyrus‘ cover of the iconic “Psycho Killer” by Talking Heads.
The buzz around Miley Cyrus’ rendition began in March when a video of her performing the song at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont went viral. The clip gained significant attention, especially after her notable wins at the 2024 Grammy Awards.
Now, her cover leads the album, which showcases a variety of artists paying homage to Talking Heads. Highlights include Paramore’s take on “Burning Down the House,” Lorde’s rendition of “Take Me to the River,” Teezo Touchdown’s version of “Making Flippy Floppy,” and Girl in Red’s cover of “Girlfriend Is Better,” among others.
Cyrus has also launched an official visualizer on YouTube to accompany the release of the song and the full album, both available for streaming on Spotify.
