Reneé Rapp and Megan Thee Stallion Unleash “Not My Fault” Ahead of Mean Girls Film

Reneé Rapp, who dominated 2023 with her debut album Snow Angel, is set to make a dazzling start to 2024 by reprising her role as Regina George in the upcoming Mean Girls film. To add more excitement to the anticipation, Reneé Rapp collaborates with Megan Thee Stallion for a track from the film’s soundtrack, titled “Not My Fault.”

The song revolves around a memorable quote from the movie, “It’s not my fault you’re like in love with me,” delivering Regina George a touch of queer flair. In the chorus, Rapp confidently sings, “It’s not my fault / You came with her but she might leave with me / It’s not my fault / You’ve gotta pay for what I get for free / It’s not my fault / You’re like, you’re like, you’re like in love with me.”

Megan Thee Stallion joins the scene with a powerful verse, asserting her dominance as the “Black Regina George.” She raps, “I got influence, they do anythin’ I endorse / I run sht, to be a bad btch is a sport.”

With Mean Girls hitting theaters on 1/12/2024, “Not My Fault” sets the stage for a vibrant soundtrack that blends the iconic with the contemporary.
