Kid Cudi, known for his previous contemplation of retirement from music, is back with a fervor, working diligently on his upcoming album, Insano. However, there’s a slight hiccup in the album’s release schedule. On September 4th, Kid Cudi took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to provide some updates about the project and share the reasons behind the delay.

In a post, the artist revealed that he’s pushing back the release of ‘Insano’ to January, citing his perfectionist tendencies as the driving force behind this decision. Nevertheless, he ensured a silver lining for his fans by offering an apology in the form of two new tracks, “Most Ain’t Dennis” and “Ill What I Bleed,” both of which are available on his official Soundcloud page.

Both songs showcase Kid Cudi‘s innovative fusion of vocal distortion through auto-tune and trap-infused bass. “Most Ain’t Dennis,” produced by BNYX & SADPONY, pays tribute to his long-time friend and frequent collaborator, Dennis Cummings, who has served as the executive producer for Cudi’s film projects. The track delves into the challenges of forming genuine connections.

On the flip side, “Ill What I Bleed,” also produced by BNYX, highlights Kid Cudi‘s self-assuredness as he boasts about his trendsetting style. Known for being attentive to fan feedback, Kid Cudi’s willingness to adapt is apparent. In May, he removed a track from ‘Insano’ due to negative responses from his audience. Therefore, fans are likely to share their thoughts on these newly released songs.

Kid Cudi addressed his fans with the following statement regarding the delay of Insano:

“Hey, fam! Got some updates for y’all. Some bad news, some good. I have to push ‘Insano’ back til January. I want to make sure that everything lines up, and that I give y’all the best version of myself. This album is amazing, and I want to make sure I present it in the best way for y’all. That’s the bad news. I still plan on releasing the next single soon, so don’t even worry about that.

The good news is, since I’m doing this and I know you all are feening to get a listen of the album, I’m releasing two new jams from ‘Insano’ tonight on Soundcloud. Just for you. (And I promise I won’t take them down.) These songs are some of my favorites on the album and I really think you’ll dig them. I’m sorry for the delay, everybody, but I’m a perfectionist. And things gotta be right. I love y’all! Enjoy!”

Kid Cudi‘s commitment to delivering a flawless album experience reflects his dedication to his craft, and fans can anticipate the release of ‘Insano’ in January while enjoying the sneak peek provided by these two new tracks.
