Aqua’s hit song “Barbie Girl” has recently experienced a resurgence in popularity due to the buzz around the Barbie movie. While the original track did not appear on the film’s soundtrack, a reimagined version featuring Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice was recorded, incorporating snippets of the Aqua classic. The song’s presence in the film was advocated for by star Margot Robbie, who was thrilled by the idea of a Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice collaboration.
Fans across the US can anticipate a lively and nostalgic experience as Aqua takes their Barbie World Tour to various cities later this year.
