The Jonas Brothers are asserting their dominance in the music scene. With their recent album release in May and an ongoing massive tour, their presence is undeniable. Their collaboration with Tomorrow X Together and their on-stage performance of “Mr. Brightside” with Jimmy Fallon have kept fans thrilled.
Adding to their impressive streak, the trio has unveiled a cover of Switchfoot’s “The Beautiful Letdown.” This rendition will be featured on the Deluxe Edition of The Beautiful Letdown (Our Version).
Sharing their deep connection with Switchfoot’s music, the Jonas Brothers revealed, “We grew up listening to their album ‘The Beautiful Letdown,’ and ‘Meant To Live’ was a huge influence for us. We’ve seen them live countless times and always wanted to collaborate with their music producer (John Fields). ‘Twenty Four’ was the first song that me (Joe) and Kevin ever played together. This album holds immense significance for us emotionally and sonically. Working with John Fields, who produced ‘The Beautiful Letdown,’ was a dream come true. The band members have consistently supported us, and we are thrilled to be part of this project, singing ‘The Beautiful Letdown,’ one of our favorite songs.”
The cover showcases the Jonas Brothers’ unique take on the track, infusing it with their own signature style. The original Switchfoot album, “The Beautiful Letdown,” features contributions from prominent artists including Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic, Jon Bellion, Dayglow, Tyler Joseph from Twenty One Pilots, Ingrid Andress, and more.
Set for release on September 15th, The Beautiful Letdown (Our Version) [Deluxe Edition] promises to offer a fresh perspective on these timeless tracks.
