This news comes just days after Stevie Nicks postponed her Saturday concert at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania due to illness within the band. The announcement was made just hours before the show was set to begin.
The concerts in Hershey, Grand Rapids, and Chicago are the last three U.S. dates on Nicks’ current tour. She is scheduled to perform six shows in Europe in July, including stops in Dublin, London, and Amsterdam. She will then return to the U.S. for the rescheduled Grand Rapids concert in September. A new date for the Hersheypark concert has not yet been announced.
On June 9, Billboard’s Ashley Iasimone attended Nicks’ show at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut. During the concert, Nicks humorously acknowledged her habit of sharing long stories about her life as a rock star, embracing it as part of her charm. “I’m so old,” Nicks joked onstage. “What’s everybody gonna say to me? ‘Stop! You can’t do this anymore!’ I’ll say, ‘OK. Fine. I’ll just go home and be alone in a rocking chair with my dog Lily.'”
