South Korean songstress Seori is set to captivate audiences once again with her upcoming single, “Broken,” marking her much-anticipated comeback. The announcement comes through a revealing Instagram post where the 27-year-old artist shared the cover art, unveiling a snowy landscape as the backdrop. Scheduled for release on January 31 at 6 pm KST, “Broken” is positioned as a “pre-release single,” hinting at a larger body of work in the pipeline.

This musical venture will be Seori’s inaugural comeback under the banner of Label Sayu, a move she made in October 2023. The decision to join Label Sayu followed her departure from the long-standing partnership with Warner Music Korea’s ATISPAUS.

Throughout 2023, Seori made her musical presence felt with OSTs for K-dramas like Doona!, Tell Me That You Love Me, and Song of The Bandits. Her most recent comeback was in March 2022 with the English-language digital single “Can’t Stop This Party.”

Before her official debut, Seori gained attention through cover performances on YouTube, cultivating a dedicated following. She stepped into the limelight in 2020 with her debut mini-album, ?Depacse Ohw. The following year, she collaborated with the boyband Tomorrow X Together on their single “0x1=Lovesong (I Know I Love You).”

Seori’s musical journey expanded with a series of digital singles, including “Lovers in the Night,” “The Long Night” featuring rapper Giriboy, “Dive With You” with former Day6 singer eaJ, and “Warriors” with 88rising’s Warren Hue for the soundtrack of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The forthcoming release of “Broken” promises to showcase Seori’s evolving artistry and further solidify her position in the music scene.
