Empress Of, whose third album, I’m Your Empress Of, dropped in early 2020, is finally making a return after a nearly four-year hiatus. The artist announced her fourth album, For Your Consideration, slated for release on March 22, marking a significant moment for fans eagerly awaiting new material.

Towards the end of 2023, Empress Of teased the upcoming album by sharing two singles, the enticing “Kiss Me” featuring Rina Sawayama and the enigmatic “Femenine.” Additionally, the album is set to feature a collaboration with Muna on the track “What’s Love,” released today, adding another layer of anticipation for what’s to come.

While Empress Of’s followers haven’t been completely without new music during the four-year gap, thanks to the 2022 release of the five-track Save Me EP, the upcoming album signals a full-length return. In 2022, she also joined Carly Rae Jepsen as an opener on her The So Nice Tour, giving fans a taste of her captivating live performances.

For Your Consideration will be released via Major Arcana, the label Empress Of established in 2020. Explaining her decision to launch the label, she stated, “After 7ish years of being on a record label, I finished all my deals and decided the next thing I was going to put out was through my own label.”

The album, boasting a diverse range of collaborations and tracks, is set to showcase Empress Of’s evolution as an artist. With singles like “Kiss Me” and “Femenine” setting the tone, the album promises a fresh perspective and artistic exploration.
