Indie heroes, The Walkmen, have exciting plans to celebrate the end of their tour. After adding new tour dates, they will conclude their journey with a final show at Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York on October 17. But what makes this event truly unique is that the band will be washing cars outside the venue.
On their official Twitter page, The Walkmen announced that the first 500 ticket buyers will be entered into a raffle, and 100 lucky winners will have their cars washed by all five band members. Each member has their designated car-washing duty: Paul Maroon will take care of hoods and trunks, Walt Martin will handle glass and chrome, Hamilton Leithauser will wash wheels and hubcaps, Matt Barrick will tackle bumpers and grills, and Peter Bauer will handle roofs.
