Harrison Ford Identifies His Favorite And Most Underrated Roles

Harrison Ford discusses which of his roles he feels is underappreciated. The legendary actor, whose first film appearances date back to the late 1960s, is best known to fans for his performances as the sarcastic smuggler Han Solo in Star Wars and the title character in the adventure picture Indiana Jones.

Ford has had a 50-year playing career, and some of his lesser-known roles have appeared in projects other than the two Lucasfilm series, such as his Oscar-nominated turn in the 1985 movie Witness.

Ford discusses which of his performances he feels are the most underappreciated in a new feature with The Hollywood Reporter. The seasoned actor claims that rather than being particularly pleased with his individual performances, he is most proud of 42 and K-19: The Widowmaker since in his opinion they are both excellent films. Check out Ford’s comments below.

I’m proud of 42. I’m proud of K-19: The Widowmaker, where I played a Russian submarine captain. But I think they’re good movies — that’s why I’m proud of them. Each film has its own destiny, and I don’t go back and parse the experience.
