How Has Tom Cruise Affected “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two”?

The filming of scenes from Call the Midwife was spoiled by Tom Cruise flying his helicopter when Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two was being shot. The British historical drama is set in London’s East End in the late 1950s and early 1960s and debuted on BBC One in 2012. It chronicles the activities of a group of midwives who work at Nonnatus House, a nursing convent.

Jenny Agutter, who plays Call the Midwife’s Jenny, recently disclosed to The Mirror that Cruise has been flying his helicopter at Longcross, the same studio where the show is filmed. She sneered that the action star “keeps on ruining our filming,” in jest. The low-key drama most definitely has nothing to do with the action-packed escapades of Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part Two taking place across the street. Below is her whole quote:

Tom Cruise keeps on ruining our filming by landing his helicopter right outside where we’re shooting.

[I could go chastise him] in my habit! Imagine. “Excuse me Tom, but look we’re trying to film. I don’t know about you, but just get your helicopter out of here quickly!”
