Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt of Everything But The Girl announce that they are releasing the follow-up to Temperamental next year. The duo shared the news on Twitter, posting “Just thought you’d like to know that we have made a new Everything But The Girl album. It’ll be out next spring. Love, Ben and Tracey 😍.”

Everything But The Girl has been active on social media lately. They also launched a new Instagram account, teasing fans that they’ll be sharing more information on the anticipated album very soon. Thorn and Watt haven’t shared new material together ever since 1999.

Meanwhile Watt was running his record label Strange Feeling, Thorn was working on her solo music and memoirs. She’s released four till now, the latest being My Rock ’n’ Roll Friend, which is about her relationship with Lindy Morrison (The Go-Betweens).

Famous for the hit song “Missing,” the married couple rarely worked together during the past couple of years, so it’s only normal that fans are thrilled to find out what the duo has prepared for them with this forthcoming 2023 album.
