The Veronicas Become The First Female-Fronted Signing For Big Noise

Pop Funk duo The Veronicas had announced their departure from Sony Music Australia in May. Jessica and Lisa Origliasso appear to be permanently residing in LA after their new signing with Alt-Pop and Rock Label Big Noise.

Goldfinger’s singer and guitarist John Feldmann, who is the label’s co-founder and A&R sealed the deal for Big Noise, and is set to handle Veronicas new upcoming music, to be released in March of 2023. The identical sisters confessed to Billboard that they’re “excited to be the first female fronted signing to the label. We felt they’re an amazing find for the Veronicas.”

Before the news came out, The Veronicas had teased working with Feldmann and the Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. Lisa talks about the new partnership and how the frontman convinced them to join his Label, “We’ve been creating music with John this year, and he was telling us he’d love to release this music through his label. It felt like the perfect thing for what we wanted to be in the States.”

The president of Big Noise Music Group, Jon Cohen says that he’s thrilled to be representing the girls, “The Veronicas have been at the forefront of unapologetic female pop punk their entire career, and we’re excited to represent their music and vision into 2023.”

The Veronicas reveal that they will be touring the US, “With emo, pop and rock making a massive resurgence worldwide, we can’t wait to be a part of it and show the world what Australian women are made of.”
