Post-punk band Algiers dropped the new official clip for “Bite Back,” their first single since the release of There Is No Year in 2020. The track is a collaboration with Billy Woods and Backxwash.
Coming from Atlanta, Franklin James Fisher, Ryan Mahan, Lee Tesche, and Matt Tong formed the band in 2012. The members are excited about the release of their new song and posted: “We come baring teeth! Unbelievably hype to hear Franklin join rap gods billy woods and Backxwash.”
Ryan Mahan; the multi-instrumentalist of the band, can’t believe that “Bite Back” brought two of the best rappers together in a single track produced by Algiers. The producer sheds light on the importance of collaborative work these days, “We really needed to grow our community of collaborators and make solid the bonds we’ve always felt, particularly with rap heads.”
Backxwash on the other hand also showed excitement and said that he feels honored to participate in a work that brings together artists of such high caliber.
