Selena Gomez Posts A Snapshot With REMA Hinting New Collaboration

Selena Gomez shared a story via her instagram account announcing a new collaboration with REMA. The “Kill Em With Kindness” singer posted a photo of herself with the Nigerian Afrobeats star and a GIF that said, “Coming Soon.”

Gomez has been teasing going back to the recording studio for sometime now. She’s been sending out messages of a potential new record via her social media accounts. There’s no concrete announcement concerning a new album, but her fans can surely read through the lines that something’s cooking.

If Selena does share new music, it will follow the album Rare released in 2020 and Spanish EP Revelación, which came out in 2021, getting Gomez her first Grammy nomination for best Latin pop album.

Selena Gomez has had her hands full with various ongoing and upcoming projects. Her comedy series on Hulu Only Murders in the Building has been nominated for an Emmy. She’s also running up as an executive producer on the show. Gomez has been working on a reboot of the 1988 classic Working Girl, in addition to shooting the fourth season of Selena + Chef.

This collab with Gomez will further enhance REMA’s career, who has been causing a frenzy ever since the release of his debut album Rave & Roses.
