Former Disney stars turned pop culture icons – Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato go way back together The two met each other and grew to be close friends when they were little kids on “Barney and Friends.”
Just recently, Gomez opened up and shared her memories from her audition day. In an interview with “The Hollywood Reporter,” the 29-year-old talks about Lovato and says “She was actually the girl that was standing in front of me. I remember she had a red bow on, I’ll never forget it. I remember thinking, ‘Wow, she’s pretty.’ We had a mini-reunion when we got the part.”
What are they up to now? Lovato released her latest single titled “Skin of My Teeth” and Gomez continues portraying the role of Mabel Mora on the hit comedy series “Only Murders in the Building.”
