Singer-songwriter Jennifer Hudson, also known as simply J.Hud, is now an official member of the EGOT club. This comes after her latest Tony Award win this past weekend. She was awarded for her producing work on the Broadway musical titled “A Strange Loop.”

EGOT status refers to the individuals who have won at least one Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award during their lifetime. It is a very prestigious achievement as to this date, only 16 people hold this status.
Rita Moreno, Alan Menken, Audrey Hepburn, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Mel Brooks, Mike Nichols, and Whoopi Goldberg are among the notable personalities who have also received all four prizes.
