Exciting Interview With Rising Artist BigTaveraLarafaga

Up and coming hip hop artist BigTaveraLarafaga sits down with us for an interview. The talent behind “Repelpero- La Renovacion Mundial” is very proud of his work and the movement he calls World Renewal! BigtaveraLarafaga is a Latín urban music rapper, writer and producer. Born and raised in Azua Dominican Republic. He was a Professional Baseball player for the Tampa Bay Rays in 2015. He became a free agent in 2016 and in 2017 he decided to move to Philadelphia where he launched his music career.

We loved your latest track “Repelpero- La Renovacion Mundial”! How did you come up with the drill sound? Who worked with you on this project?

First of all, thanks for loving my last track, and this drill style occurred to me while recording in the studio with John Diplomatics and my recorder-engineer Atm The Machine, as well as producer Shalak.

In the Spanish language music scene, who are some artists you really admire?

I admire all the artists and components of the Latin genre in Spanish, and I will do many collaborations with them under the terms of the World Renewal.

Where do you get your inspiration on days when you’re not particularly motivated?

I draw inspiration from reading the words of our creator because it gives me strength and desire to continue working on this movement called the World Renewal.

Tell us about “La Renovacion”; the song has over 100K streams and seems to be quite the sensation for fans. When and how did you come up with it?

That song called the renovation reached 100k so I invented my own marketing ideas and the fans loved it, and I came up with it with my brother John Diplomatics and it was my first distribution on digital platforms.

How did you choose your stage name BigTaveraLarafaga and what’s the meaning behind it?

I came up with my artistic name because I’m tall, I’m 6.4 and I put on Big, and then my surname Tavera, then Larafaga I came up with it because in baseball I reached 98 miles and in the musical career I shot a burst of lyrics, that’s how it came to me.

With all these artists out and about, how do you make sure that your sound is different and unique?

I make sure that it is unique because I am committed to my movement that nobody has right now in the industry, only me and it is “The World Renewal” so I will do my best to be unique in my own flow.  There are not two interiors with the same information and the one I have makes me unique right now and that is the one I will transmit.
