Following the Astroworld tragedy that occurred earlier this year and unfortunately resulted in the death of at least 10 people, it was recently announced that Travis Scott has officially been removed from the lineup for the 2022 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
This news comes after a petition demanding the rapper’s removal from the festival’s list of performers garnered over 60,000 signatures on Change.org, as of the time of this writing.
Note that Coachella is one of the biggest music festivals in the United States right now. With a capacity of more than a hundred thousand people and a lineup of some of the biggest names in the music industry, it was a no-brainer how the show has already been sold out.
