The Queen has invited Prince Harry and Megan Markle to Christmas, but her request was turned down by the couple.
The royal family will have a relatively difficult Christmas, as the family still mourns the death of Prince Philip.
An insider source has stated that the palace has been disappointed by the couple, adding:
“This is Her Majesty’s first Christmas without her husband, so one would have hoped they would want to be with her.”
