Foo Fighters have exciting news for their fans as they officially announced the release of a double A-side single of their song, “The Glass,” which includes a reinterpretation by the talented H.E.R. The track is set to be available for streaming starting this Friday, and a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl is currently available for pre-order, with a release date of December 29.
The collaboration between Foo Fighters and H.E.R. was showcased during a previous Saturday Night Live appearance, where Dave Grohl led the vocals, and H.E.R. contributed backing vocals in the chorus and took on the second verse. This preview gave fans a taste of what to expect in the upcoming full version of the song.

For this release, H.E.R. will be featured solo, providing new vocals and guitar instrumentation that aims to transform the original’s “sonic and emotional dimensions,” according to a press release.
“The Glass” was originally part of Foo Fighters’ album But Here We Are, released in June. The album marked a significant moment for the band as it was their first record without the late drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the double A-side release, looking forward to experiencing the collaborative magic between Foo Fighters and H.E.R.
Foo Fighters and H.E.R.’s “The Glass” is set to be released on November 17 via Roswell Records/RCA Records.
