In classic Beyoncé style, Queen Bey is making a stunning theatrical comeback.
Beyoncé gave a rare and private performance on stage to celebrate the inauguration of the Atlantis The Royal, a brand-new five-star hotel in Dubai. The hour-long event began with Etta James’s “At Last.”
On January 21, when lights started to illuminate a stage and an Egyptian-themed background emerged from the sea, the performance started with brilliant fireworks exploding over the enormous audience.
The 41-year-old model, decked out in a yellow and sheer bustier top, feathery skirt, and matching backpiece, rose from a platform in front of a huge half-sun model.
While performing, Beyoncé was joined onstage by her daughter Blue Ivy, another legend. According to Variety, the mother-daughter team performed “Brown Skin Girl” together, with Blue Ivy dancing next to the 28-time Grammy Award winner while donning a red sequin costume.
According to the newspaper, Beyoncé’s performance was mostly ballad-focused and included songs like “Freedom,” “Spirit,” and “Be Alive.” But the performer made sure to play crowd-pleasers including “Beautiful Liar” and “Naughty Girl.” According to reports, she reportedly didn’t perform any songs from her 2022 album “Renaissance.”
