American singer and songwriter, Solána Imani Rowe, aka SZA, dropped a 20-second teaser of the anticipated music video for her latest track “Kill Bill.” The clip will be led by award-winning director Christian Breslauer, who is famous for his collaborations with the likes of John Legend, Lizzo, Marshmello, and many others.
As the name suggests, “Kill Bill” is inspired by Tarantino’s classic feature that is about a vengeful assassin played by Uma Thurman. Breslauer pays homage to the Oscar-winning director and writer, as SZA is seen zipping up a red leather suit similar to the one worn in the movie. The R&B artist fully embraces her role and slices off the head of a stuffed dummy.
SZA shared the video on her Twitter account, saying, “It’s what y’all deserve.”

“Kill Bill” that comes off her recent album S.O.S topped the charts and reached the number one spot, thanks to its vindictive story; “I just killed my ex, not the best idea/Killed his girlfriend next, how’d I get here?/ I might kill my ex, I still love him though/ Rather be in jail than alone.”
“I never thought in a million years that people would like it. Everybody came down to make sure I didn’t lose my mind if the album went bad once it came out. And now we’re just hanging out, ’cause it didn’t go badly,” said SZA in a recent interview.
She even took to her social media to thank the fans for their support, “I jus wanna say the way y’all been riding for me and genuinely wanna see me win / get my first number one means SO much …community is everything and I couldn’t do any of this w out YALL 🥹 THANK YOU I LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU 🤍🫡🆘 #Killbill
