The opening of the first modern electronic museum (MOMEM), will surely reshape and challenge the art realm. The Frankfurt-based museum was first introduced in 2015, and it’s officially going to open its doors in 2022.
The museum will also touch on the influence of electronic music on fashion, music production, and technology.
A recent statement published on the museum’s website reads the following:
“MOMEM will be a place to explore, conserve and relive the historical dimensions and influences of Electronic Music.”
The statement also added that it’s “a journey from the beginning to the future. A place of continuous movement and transformation, turning from a museum into a stage into a bar into the academy. A reactive environment in the heart of Frankfurt.”
