This year the Sustainable Development Goals Moment invited his excellency the president of the Republic of Korea as well as chart-topping music sensation BTS to speak about the sustainable development goals (SDGs) set by the U.N.
All seven guys shed light on the effect that the pandemic had on the younger generation as most teenagers and young adults have spent almost two years in the Covid-19 dominated world. They have adapted to new ways of learning, coping, communicating, working, and so on. They also talked about the importance of vaccines and mentioned that all seven of them were fully vaccinated.
In addition to the insights they gave us, the K-Pop icons nailed their performance of their latest single “Permission to Dance” at the United Nations General Assembly and BTS fans were quick to raise the number of views on the official U.N YouTube channel.
