Claudia Valentina Goes Full DIY in Self-Directed “I Luv That Babe” Video

Claudia Valentina is back with a bold visual for her new single “I Luv That Babe,” and this time, she’s completely in the driver’s seat. Self-directed, self-styled, and fully self-produced, the video reveals a raw, artistic side to the rising pop provocateur—one she’s been quietly crafting since childhood.

Known for her cinematic vision and hyper-focused aesthetic, Claudia leans into a stripped-back but high-concept execution. “I sat for ages just trying to think of the most simple but ridiculously stripped back, high creative and most simple ideas,” she explains. “I rocked up to the video with like 3 litres of yogurt and milk and all of the ideas.”

It’s an unusual process, but that’s exactly the point. Claudia’s method favors instinct over perfectionism, and the result is a visual that feels messy, sensual, and unapologetically hers. With only two people behind the camera and no fixed shot list, she captures the song’s “effortless litness and sexy vibe” in a way that feels intimate, not staged.

This isn’t Claudia’s first visual statement, but it might be her most personal. A self-professed “bitch for arts and crafts,” she treats video-making like building a world from scratch. “That’s the shit I’ve been just working on. I’m obsessed with the creative side of stuff and I have a very specific image.”

“I Luv That Babe” follows recent singles “Candy,” “Cry Them Dry,” “When I’m High,” and “Diamonds On My Teeth,” all set to appear on her upcoming EP. Outside her own discography, Claudia’s songwriting résumé continues to grow—most notably with BLACKPINK’s global hit “Jump,” which she co-wrote. The track has hit No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 and Spotify Global 50, proving her reach extends far beyond her own mic.
