Gracie Abrams has claimed her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart with her track “That’s So True.” The song, featured on the deluxe edition of The Secret of Us, climbs from No. 4 to the top spot on the Nov. 23-dated chart after earning 23.5 million official U.S. streams in the week ending Nov. 14, according to Luminate. This marks a 25% increase in streams compared to the previous week. The chart will be officially published on Nov. 19.
The achievement comes just a month after Gracie Abrams landed her first top 10 on the Streaming Songs chart with “I Love You, I’m Sorry,” which debuted at No. 10 on Oct. 26 and peaked at No. 9 on Nov. 2. Abrams’ Streaming Songs journey began earlier this year with “Close to You,” which made a one-week appearance at No. 45 in June.
Abrams is the second female artist to earn a No. 1 on Streaming Songs as a lead act in 2024, joining Sabrina Carpenter, whose tracks “Please Please Please” and “Taste” also reached the summit this year.
“That’s So True” has simultaneously surged on the Billboard Hot 100, moving from No. 13 to No. 6 as the chart’s greatest gainer in streaming this week. This marks Abrams’ first appearance in the Hot 100’s top 10.
The song is part of the deluxe edition of The Secret of Us, Abrams’ sophomore studio album. The standard edition of the album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on July 6, and the deluxe edition, released on Oct. 18, has helped the album remain a strong contender on the charts. The project is currently at No. 4 on the latest Billboard 200 with 53,000 equivalent album units earned this week, bringing its cumulative total to 669,000 units.
