Today, we’re thrilled to spotlight a rising star, See-Money, who’s shaking up the hip-hop scene with a blend of classic vibes and modern flair. See-Money is making waves with his latest single, “Silent,” which has soared to an impressive #15 on the iTunes Hip Hop/Rap Chart. This achievement is particularly remarkable considering it’s positioned higher than even Eminem’s “Houdini.” We’re excited to dive into his journey, explore the influences behind his music, and discuss how he’s managing to craft such powerful narratives at such a young age. So, without further ado, let’s get into it and find out what makes See-Money a name to watch.

Stereo Saints: Congratulations on hitting #15 on the iTunes Hip Hop/Rap Chart with “Silent”! How does it feel to see your work resonate so strongly with listeners, and what was your initial reaction when you saw the chart position?

See Money: When I saw my song hit #15 on the charts, I was almost in shock that my song was beating rappers like Eminem, 2pac, & Biggie on Apple Music, one of the largest streaming platforms in the U.S.!! Yeah, it all just really surprised me and made me very happy and proud of my craft. It makes me satisfied that people resonate with my flows and the storytelling I do in my music.

Stereo Saints: At just 14 years old, you’ve achieved a significant milestone in your career. Can you share some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced as a young artist in the hip-hop industry and how you’ve overcome them?

See Money: Getting my music out there was a big challenge in the beginning, which at the time I was 11. Nobody really knew who See-Money was, and I had to find something different in my music that people really liked. I had to make myself special from today’s artist. So I did. I’d like to mention there’s a whole shitload of pre-recorded music I’ve never released because I sound a lot younger. Now I’m dealing with rerecording old songs with my new, mature voice.

Stereo Saints: “Silent” showcases a depth that’s often associated with more seasoned artists. How do you channel your personal experiences and insights into your music at such a young age?

See Money: I draw insights and ideas from things I’ve done or even movies I’ve watched, like in my song “Silent,” which was mostly based off the movie ‘The Town,’ which really inspired me and shaped the story of my song.

Stereo Saints: Your music blends classic hip-hop vibes with modern personal insights. How has growing up in Pittsburgh and being part of the IRA Family Music Collective influenced your sound and lyrical themes?

See Money: At the start of a very young age, I was always fascinated with rap & hip hop culture. I’m talking at like 4 or 5, I first heard rap music & loved it! My mom & dad always listened to the G.O.A.T.S. like 2pac, Biggie, & Eminem while I was growing up in Pittsburgh. So this contributed to my development as an artist, along with some other stuff that normal kids my age have never seen or had to deal with. All of these negative & positive life experiences allowed me to create music & storytell for the world!

Stereo Saints: Many young artists face pressure to conform to trends. How do you stay true to your artistic vision while navigating the evolving landscape of hip-hop?

See Money:  I always try to stay true to myself. I want to be different than today’s artists, AKA auto-tuned, mumble rappers. My music isn’t for everybody. I understand at almost 15 years old. Not everyone is going to be a fan. Some people might say it’s trash, while other people find it to be fire. I’m not expecting everyone to love my music. I’m not trying to be different. I’m trying to be me. I want to carve my own path forward in this music industry.

Stereo Saints: Your family’s involvement in the IRA Family Music Collective has been a crucial part of your journey. How has their support and involvement shaped your approach to music and your career?

See Money: Of course my family’s support always helps me, especially when there were times that I was feeling down about not having any fans and my music was not getting heard. Then I had some real tragic shit happen, & a bunch of my songs got pulled off of Spotify, & I lost millions of streams! So my family has always been by my side this whole time. I have to thank my parents for always believing in me & what I want to do. If it wasn’t for my dad taking me to the studio & paying for my music videos plus helping me with managing & marketing, I wouldn’t be here today. So big thanks to Mom & Dad for everything! My mom does all of my music video set designs, wardrobe, & props. It really is a team effort. My family helps me out big time. I’m currently collaborating with “23 Woosh” from the UK on my newest release, “Silent Remix.” I have a few other people I’d like to collaborate with for sure in the future. As for my flow, it’s heavily inspired by the G.O.A.T.S. like Eminem, 2Pac, & Biggie.

Stereo Saints: What do you think sets “Silent” apart from other tracks in the current hip-hop scene? Are there any specific elements or themes in the song that you believe are particularly unique?

See Money:  In my opinion, “Silent” really gives a classical vibe with the really defined lyrics and the piano-type beat. This is really different from today’s rappers, which I personally feel like I can’t understand the mumbling or there’s no substance or meaning to the song. It’s basically brain rot.

Stereo Saints: Looking ahead, what are some goals you have for your music career? Are there any artists or producers you’re eager to collaborate with in the future?

See Money: I mean, it really depends on what I’m able to achieve. I mean, obviously, if I can collaborate with someone like Eminem, that would be insane! Until that happens, I’ll stay focused on my own age group or artists that match my flow.

Stereo Saints: How do you handle the pressure of maintaining your schoolwork and personal life while pursuing a music career so early on?

See Money: Well, its definitely not easy. To start, I don’t really like school. I’m having way more fun rapping…(laughs) But hey, it is what it is. I know I have to go to school for now. No matter what school or any other situation could ever break my focus on rap. I’m highly devoted to my career as a long-time artist. I love rapping & making music. Rap doesn’t affect my grades. I focus on my schoolwork whenever I’m in school. I’m a 3.8-4.0 GPA student. I won’t allow my music to effect my studies. So it does definitely become more difficult when I’m back in school. Unfortunately, being a teenager has disadvantages. I have to go to school or I’ll get truency. So this doesn’t allow me as much time to write or work on my music as someone who is 18+, like an older artist who doesn’t have homework or have to go to school Monday-Friday.

Stereo Saints: Are there any upcoming projects or releases that fans should be excited about? What can we expect next from See-Money?

See Money: Yes, there’s a lot coming soon! The new “Deluxe Silent EP” is dropping very, very soon! And it might be out by the time this article is posted! Basically, there’s five versions of “Silent” on the new EP. There’s the original version that I recorded at 12 years old back in 2022! Then there’s the clean version, which I recorded for the music video last year whenever I was 13 years old. This year I recorded a third explicit take at 14 years old. Then I did a whole new remix with an artist I collabed with from the UK… 23woosh, who brings straight fire to the track! The final version on the EP is the instrumental, which I’ve had a bunch of artists & producers hitting me up asking for the instrumental! Now everyone will have a chance to listen to or own all five versions of “Silent”! After the EP drops, we have a music video coming out that will showcase the new “Silent” (Remix) Feat: 23woosh! So that’s the plan for the rest of August and into September, but come October & November, there’s way more to come!

Thank you for joining us on this journey into the world of See-Money. It’s clear that his talent, drive, and unique perspective are setting him up for an incredible future in hip-hop. As he continues to navigate the music industry and bring his authentic voice to the forefront, we’re eager to see where his career takes him next.
