The footage also includes scenes from Smith’s “In the Lonely Hour” anniversary celebration in June, where the duo first performed this version. The event was hosted by Lady Bunny, and the video shows Smith mingling with guests and fans before performing with Keys.

Smith expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to collaborate with Keys, praising her as an outstanding talent and a wonderful person. Keys shared her excitement about the project, mentioning how special the session was, highlighted by her son Egypt playing piano and her other son Genesis cracking jokes throughout the session.

This fresh version is part of the 10th anniversary edition of Smith’s debut album, “In the Lonely Hour,” released by Capitol Records. The anniversary album also includes a new interpretation of “Stay With Me,” a fresh track called “Little Sailor,” and several other collaborations with artists like Mary J. Blige, A$AP Rocky, and John Legend.
