Stray Kids have just released their latest mini-album, titled ‘ATE,’ which hit the airwaves on Friday, July 19. This comes two months following their collaboration with Charlie Puth on the track “Lose My Breath,” which was their third release of the year.
The popular eight-member K-pop ensemble — featuring Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. — shared insights about ‘ATE’. Felix shared that the concept for ‘ATE’ is a departure from their previous work. Bang Chan echoed this sentiment, pointing out that both the leading single and the album’s additional tracks introduce a fresh perspective, showcasing new facets of Stray Kids‘ musical identity.
Each of the group’s previous albums — including 2022’s ‘Maxident’ and ‘Oddinary’ as well as 2023’s ‘Rock-Star’ and ‘5-Star’ — debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart. With this achievement, Stray Kids has become the first group since Alicia Keys to have their first four albums enter the chart at number one, spanning from 2001 to 2007.
