Marina has announced she’s deep into the process of creating her sixth studio album, set to drop next year. In a recent interview following her performance at BST Hyde Park, where she opened for Kylie Minogue, Marina expressed her enthusiasm about her new projects, including a poetry book titled “Eat The World,” scheduled for release on October 29 through Penguin Random House. She made it clear that the album and the book are separate ventures and she prefers focusing on one project at a time. The artist shared her excitement about upcoming promotions and the opportunity to engage in discussions on various platforms.
Reflecting on her recent performance, Marina recounted the joy of sharing the stage with Minogue, an artist she has admired since her teenage years. This event marked her return to live performances after a hiatus of a year and a half, bringing a mix of nostalgia and new beginnings to her career.
Marina, who began her career in 2009 as Marina and the Diamonds, has now released five albums. Her latest, “Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land,” was released in 2021. She spoke about the evolving social issues that influence her music, noting that while the quest for chart-topping hits might be over, her passion now lies in exploring new themes and ideas in her music.
