Wet Leg Makes a Triumphant Return with Seven New Songs

Wet Leg made a spectacular comeback with a surprise performance at Brighton’s Green Door Store. The show was their first live appearance since August 2024 and featured the debut of seven new songs.

Wet Leg, consisting of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, opened their 11-track set with the unreleased track “Fids”, preparing for a night of fresh material. Other new songs included “Jen Bod”, “Lovestruck”, “Dave Nah”, “Dragonfart”, and “Beans”.

The performance was a masterclass in their signature witty lyrics and infectious melodies, while the new tracks hinted at a bold evolution in their sound. Social media went crazy with excitement as clips from the show sparked anticipation for their upcoming U.S. performances in New York and Los Angeles.

Wet Leg’s playful persona was on full display, with the duo donning black wigs reminiscent of Uma Thurman’s iconic Pulp Fiction character, Mia Wallace. This whimsical touch reinforced their reputation for quirky, lighthearted artistry. The band’s ability to surprise and delight their audience has been a cornerstone of their success, earning them two Grammy Awards and a BRIT Award for Best British Group in 2023.

The Brighton show celebrated their return with appearances at major festivals like Primavera, TRNSMT, and Rock Werchter. Wet Leg’s resurgence underscores their growing influence in the indie music scene with their unique sound and charm.
