flowerovlove Drops Valentine’s Day Surprise, “I’ve Seen Ur Ex”

Brimming with confidence and cheeky swagger, flowerovlove delivers her latest single, “I’ve Seen Ur Ex,” just in time for Valentine’s Day. The London-based artist once again captures her signature bedroom pop style, blending playful sass with raw vulnerability. The song, co-written by flowerovlove, sees her warning a possessive admirer: “You’d drag a body for me / Quit your job for me / Babe / Go back to your ex / You can’t take the stress / Of dating somebody like me.” She recorded the track in Los Angeles with renowned producers Justin Tranter (Zara Larsson, Billy Porter), Russ Chell (Juice WRLD, Tate McRae), and Ryland Blackinton (Chromeo, Boys Like Girls). Listen to the single and watch the music video HERE.

At just 19 years old, flowerovlove, who was recently named one of the 2025 artists to watch by Rolling Stone and InStyle, reflects on the song’s deeper meaning. “‘I’ve Seen Ur Ex’ is about the jealousy and insecurities that can hide behind a facade of confidence,” she explains.

Following a whirlwind January filled with Chanel events in Paris and studio sessions in London, flowerovlove heads to Manila to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special concert for fans who helped her 2024 single “breaking news” climb to #2 on the viral charts in the Philippines, where it has now accumulated over 16 million combined streams worldwide. The track remains a fan favorite, alongside her other successful releases. Next week, she returns to the U.K. to attend the MOBO Awards, where she is nominated for Best Newcomer.

Flowerovlove made her U.S. debut in 2024 with sold-out headline shows in New York City and Los Angeles. This summer, she will join Halsey as a special guest on the U.S. leg of her tour. Flowerovlove, known for her unique blend of intimate, diary-like lyrics and infectious pop sound, continues to turn heads.
