Jon Anderson is set to release his new album “TRUE,” recorded with his touring band, The Band Geeks, in August. Anderson has also shared a new clip of himself performing the 1974 Yes track “Soon” with The Band Geeks, which you can watch below.
Earlier this month, Anderson announced that he will release his new solo album “TRUE” with The Band Geeks on August 23 through his new label, Frontiers Records.
The album will be preceded by the single “Shine On”, which will come out with a new video in June. Anderson’s new label describes “TRUE” as “a collection of songs that brings back Yes’s classic 70s sounds as well as their later success with the album 90125.” Anderson recorded “TRUE” with The Band Geeks, with whom he has toured America for the past two years. The album has been co-produced, engineered, and mixed by Band Geek bassist and musical director Richie Castellano.
Anderson has also added two September dates to his Yes: Epics, Classics and More tour, which currently runs from May to August. He will perform at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA on September 13 and 15.
