Joining Gallagher at the top of the bill are producer and DJ Fred Again and the captivating singer Lana Del Rey. Fred Again expressed his excitement, stating that Reading and Leeds would be the only UK festival he plays next year, marking a significant moment in his career. Del Rey, making her headline debut, and Blink-182, returning after a decade, have both committed to exclusive performances at the festivals.
Other noteworthy acts announced include indie rock band Catfish And The Bottlemen, American pop-punk outfit Blink-182, Scottish singer Gerry Cinnamon, Mercury Prize nominee Raye, American DJ Skrillex, band Spiritbox, and rapper Digga D.
Gallagher, in anticipation of his headline set, shared, “I’m gonna be playing Reading & Leeds, the most RnR (Rock n’ Roll) festivals we have left in the UK. Be there or be square LGx.”
Festivalgoers can expect a diverse musical experience, from Gallagher’s timeless hits to Fred Again’s innovative beats and Lana Del Rey’s captivating performances. The festivals, known for nurturing emerging talent, will also see the return of bands like Catfish And The Bottlemen, rising through the ranks to headline for the second time.
