Louis Tomlinson, formerly of One Direction, is also supporting Andrew Cushin’s album release and aims to help him reach a wider audience. The two musicians met after Tomlinson was impressed by Cushin’s performance on the Sky Sports show Soccer AM. Tomlinson offered him a support slot in London, leading to more shows across the US and Europe.
Cushin expressed his gratitude for the encouragement and support from both Doherty and Tomlinson, acknowledging the valuable learning experiences from working with established artists.
Earlier this week, Cushin released his latest single, “Wor Flags,” which is the fifth track to be shared from the upcoming album. The song embraces living in the moment and escaping from everyday troubles. The album also includes previously released singles like “It’s Coming Round Again,” which featured an intimate music video filmed during Cushin’s North American tour with Tomlinson.
Following the album release, Andrew Cushin is scheduled to embark on a UK headline tour, including two nights at Newcastle’s prestigious City Hall.
Andrew Cushin has garnered support from indie legends before, having collaborated with Noel Gallagher on the track “Where’s My Family Gone” in 2020. With the backing of Louis Tomlinson and Pete Doherty, Cushin’s debut album release is anticipated to make a significant impact in the music scene.
