Pink ‘s Summer Carnival tour has been filled with unique and unconventional moments that continue to captivate her fans. During a recent concert in Cincinnati, OH, the pop star surprised the audience with a heartfelt tribute to the late Sinéad O’Connor, who passed away on July 26.
Pink shared a touching childhood memory with the crowd, reminiscing about how she used to visit the Ocean City Boardwalk with $10 in hand to make demo tapes for record companies. She revealed that her demo tapes always featured two iconic songs: “Greatest Love of All” by Whitney Houston and “Nothing Compares 2 U” by Sinéad O’Connor. As a tribute to Sinéad and in collaboration with her talented friend Brandi Carlile, Pink invited Carlile on stage to perform “Nothing Compares 2 U” together.
The setlist for the Cincinnati concert was nothing short of spectacular. It featured some of Pink’s biggest hits and fan favorites, including “Get the Party Started,” “Raise Your Glass,” “Just Like a Pill,” and “Just Give Me a Reason.” The concert also included a Bob Dylan cover of “Make You Feel My Love” and an acoustic rendition of “Please Don’t Leave Me.”
The performance was a perfect blend of emotional ballads and energetic anthems, leaving the audience captivated and wanting more. As the concert reached its peak, Pink treated the crowd to an encore with two final songs, “Last Call” and the iconic hit “So What.”
