Format Festival Returns for Second Year with Headliners Alanis Morissette, LCD Soundsystem, and Leon Bridges
Format Festival is gearing up for its second edition, building on the success of last year’s event with a spectacular three-day lineup. This year, headliners Alanis Morissette, LCD Soundsystem, and Leon Bridges will grace the stage over three days.
The festival is set to take place from September 22 to 24 in Bentonville, Arkansas, nestled within the Ozark Mountains. The lineup features LCD Soundsystem headlining on Friday, September 22, Alanis Morissette taking center stage on Saturday, September 23, and Leon Bridges closing out the festivities on Sunday, September 24.
Other standout acts scheduled to perform include Modest Mouse, Poolside, Tash Sultana, Little Simz, Channel Tres, Kari Faux, Madeline Edwards, Serpentwithfeet, and Sudan Archives. Check out the full lineup below. Described as a “multidisciplinary experience,” the organizers are committed to blending music, visual, and performance arts. This year’s festival will showcase visual and performance artists such as the Guerrilla Girls, JR’s Inside Out Project, and Kameelah Janan Rasheed.
Building on last year’s format, the festival will feature main and small side stages, as well as unconventional spaces for more intimate performances. Attendees can expect to find forest enclaves, pavilions, barns, and speakeasies scattered throughout the grounds.
