Jamie Campbell Bower, well known for his role in Stranger Things, expressed a desire to play Scarecrow in the DC Universe. While the DCEU will release a few films this year, a new DC Universe is on the way. DC Studios, led by James Gunn and Peter Safran, is creating a new interwoven franchise. They will connect television series, movies, animation, and video games as part of the DC Universe under their direction. A Batman remake named The Brave and the Bold is one of the new flicks in the works. There is currently no filmmaker or writer linked to the new Dark Knight, as well as no actor.
Bower was recently asked if he would be interested in joining the DC Universe in an interview with Geek House Show. Bower, best known for his role on Stranger Things, revealed that there has been a lot of “chatter” regarding Scarecrow recently, as he would want to play the legendary Batman villain. While it’s unclear which Scarecrow chatter Bower is talking to, the DC Universe figure he’d want to play is Jonathan Crane, who shares the following:
There’s been a lot of chatter about Scarecrow recently, that would be cool. To do that, that would be fun. Very spooky, that would be great!
