Jason Momoa, who plays Batman in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, has hinted to the character’s future in the DC Comics universe. He said that he worked with several Batman actors while filming the movie. The sequel, which has been postponed many times but is presently scheduled to debut on Christmas Day, is the follow-up to 2018’s Aquaman, the DCU movie with the greatest global box office take.
The upcoming movie, which was directed by James Wan again, will follow Aquaman (Momoa) as he is compelled to establish an alliance with an unusual ally in order to aid in the preservation of Atlantis. Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temuera Morrison, and Nicole Kidman are also part of the returning cast.
While the actor was in Sundance promoting the new documentary Deep Rising, The Wrap got the chance to talk with Momoa about Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. The actor admitted during their chat that throughout the lengthy filming timeline of the movie, “I shot with a couple different Batmans” He refused to specify which talent or performers he is alluding to or which ones will appear in the completed piece, though, given the recent changes in the DCU lineup.
“You just don’t know what’s going on and we’ll see what the end product is.”
