HyunA, a K-pop soloist, has released a cheeky new music video for her tune ‘Nabillera.’
The singer-rapper is encircled by butterflies in the brilliant Y2K-inspired video as she flaunts colorful clothes and confident stances. “Me so fly, like a butterfly,” she announces confidently as she removes her jacket. The title of the song, written in Korean as ‘나빌레라’ – is a native Korean word from an old poem named The Nun’s Dance, which translates approximately to “like a butterfly” in English.
The music video for ‘Nabillera,’ from HyunA’s new mini-album of the very same name, was released on July 20, 2022.
‘Nabillera’ was co-written by HyunA, P Nation label head Psy, labelmate and fiancé DAWN, and Daniel Caesar of Swedish production duo Caesar & Loui, among others. Caesar is also acknowledged as the writer and arranger of the song.
‘Nabillera’ is HyunA’s eighth solo mini-album, and her second under Psy’s P Nation label, after the mini-album ‘I’m Not Cool’ in 2021. It is also her first collection of new music since collaborating with DAWN on the EP ‘[1+1=1]’ last September, led by the title tune ‘Ping Pong.’
