After battling a rare form of cancer, renowned fashion designer Virgil Abloh dies at the age of 41.
On Sunday November 28th, Virgil Abloh passed away after a silent fight for two years with a rare form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma.
Abloh was best known for his Milan-based label Off-White. The luxury brand was founded in 2012 in Milan, Italy. Since then, it has collaborated with many brands like Nike, Levi’s, Converse, Dr. Martens and many more.
Moreover, Virgil Abloh was the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection from 2018 until his death.
Several celebrities and brands paid tribute to the late designer on Twitter. Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) made a statement on Sunday, announcing Virgil’s death.
